Workshop in
clear language
For specialists and knowledge workers
Many organizations waste resources writing texts that are never read because they are too complex or unclear.
The good news is that being able to write in an easy-to-understand way is a skill that can be learned.
Concrete tools
I offer workshops where you get concrete tools to rewrite difficult texts into easy-to-read texts.
Below you can see two examples of how I can help you go from complex text to easy reading:
1. From technical language to communication
Before: “The incidence of chronic diseases correlates significantly with socioeconomic factors and exposure to risk behaviors.”
After: "The risk of getting a lifestyle disease like diabetes or COPD is closely related to your background. The shorter your education, the greater the risk of getting sick."
2. From chancery language to lay Danish
Before: "The board has assessed that the submitted attachments are not sufficient for the further processing of the case."
After: "We have looked at your documents. Unfortunately, we are missing some information before we can finish processing your case."
ChatGPT and other AIs
Many organizations already use AI to write and edit texts, and it can be a useful tool. But AI doesn't know your tone of voice, your target audience, or the nuances that are crucial in your context.
The teaching gives you the academic foundation to write well both with and without using AI.
